Ah, Tziah, the opulent palace of gold in Tartarus! Picture yourself stepping into this extravagant block after the September Full Moon in Persona 3 Reload. From floor to ceiling, gold envelops the surroundings, transforming it into a majestic realm. With a total of 50 floors, Tziah serves as a proving ground for the battles that lie ahead.
Divided into two halves like its predecessors, Tziah's second half awaits discovery in October. This section offers an excellent opportunity to experiment with new mechanics and wield powerful Personas, especially after the tragic loss suffered during the October Full Moon battle. Prepare yourself for a whirlwind of encounters with Greedy Shadows and treacherous Dark Zones; there's never a dull moment in the Tziah block.
Caution: Spoilers for Persona 3 Reload lie ahead. Brace yourself!
After the intense 9/10 Full Moon operation where you faced off against Arcana Hermit, your next Tartarus expedition grants access to the first half of Tziah, spanning from 122F to 144F. A month later, after the 10/4 Full Moon, the second half of the block unlocks, stretching from 145F to 172F. The entire block bathes in ostentatious splendor, featuring golden waterfalls, majestic pillars emerging from the ground, and an ambiance reminiscent of ancient temples.
As you venture into Tziah for the first time, brace yourself for not one, but two additional teammates joining your expedition. Make sure to add them to your team and put their abilities to the test. Let the adventure begin!
Just like the previous blocks of Tartarus, Tziah introduces two new mechanics as you ascend through its gilded floors, with both making an encore appearance in the second half.
Dark Zones, my friend, are floors cloaked in darkness, save for a spotlight illuminating your team. Unfortunately, Fuuka cannot provide a map in such conditions. But here's the silver lining: Shadows cannot see you in the dark! You're free to roam and collect treasures scattered around the Relics on these floors, which always yield Twilight Fragments.
And then, my dear reader, you shall encounter the notorious Greedy Shadows, colossal versions of the mischievous Treasure Hands you've encountered before. To defeat them, you must follow their movements closely and guide Fuuka to intercept their path. Successfully cornering a Greedy Shadow three times will trigger a showdown. The stakes? All the treasure on the floor. Win, and the loot is yours! Fail to catch the Greedy Shadow, and it will snatch away most of the spoils, leaving you with mere scraps.
Fear not, for Fuuka shall map the entire floor during the chase, allowing you to swiftly proceed to the next level after the battle. Of course, if you're feeling adventurous, you can always engage in skirmishes with the other Shadows lurking around.
Now, don't be fooled by Tziah's shorter stature; it harbors no shortage of Gatekeeper challenges. Brace yourself, for a whopping ten Gatekeepers await you in Tziah! Five reside in each half, and they won't hesitate to test your mettle, one after another.
Once you clear the Monad door, ascend the final set of stairs on 171F to reach the border floor leading to the next block of Tartarus, Adamah. But that, my friend, is a tale for another time.
So, dear reader, prepare yourself for a grandiose journey through the gilded halls of Tziah in Persona 3 Reload. Unleash your courage, wield your Personas, and conquer the challenges that lie within. Remember, fortune favors the audacious.
